Why Does the Skin Age

Why does the skin age 🥀

The root cause of various facial, skin, and hair issues often lies in chronic oxygen deficiency within tissues, leading to inadequate delivery of the essential beauty cocktail found in our blood plasma.

Exclusively through the bloodstream, all cells in our body receive the crucial oxygen and nutrients essential for their well-being. Arterial blood brings these vital elements, while venous blood serves to cleanse cells by removing metabolic waste and toxins.

When arteries and blood vessels undergo constriction due to muscle spasms, the metabolism of skin cells and hair follicles is compromised. This results in accelerated and ungraceful aging, manifesting as dry, lackluster skin and issues like thinning, graying, breakage, and hair loss.

Recognizing signs of impaired bloodstream function is pivotal. For instance:

  1. Swelling: The vertebral artery, responsible for delivering oxygen to the brain, triggers an alarm when there’s insufficient oxygen. Adrenaline production narrows blood vessels, and kidneys respond with fluid retention, causing tissues to appear loose, watery, and swollen.

  2. Dark Circles under the Eyes: Oxygen deficiency causes hemoglobin in the blood to take on a purple hue. When this shines through the thin skin under the eyes, devoid of a fatty layer, it results in deep blue shades, leading to dark circles.

  3. Dry, Dull, Exhausted Skin: Disrupted microcirculation decreases the thickness of skin layers. This compromised blood supply to microvessels significantly impacts the skin’s hydration levels, resulting in dryness, dullness, and an unhealthy complexion.

Addressing these underlying issues related to bloodstream health is essential for maintaining vibrant, healthy skin and hair.
